Al Cartoon Forum di Tolosa l’animazione europea del futuro

Per l’edizione 2023 sono 77 i progetti europei, tra serie TV e TV special selezionati tra le 120 proposte provenienti da tutto il continente

Al terzo e ultimo giorno, il bilancio del Cartoon Forum si può dire più che positivo. L’animazione europea si presenta dinamica e in forte crescita, sia in termini numerici sia di contenuto e creatività.
Una buona parte dei progetti selezionati (24) sono già co-produzioni, la forma di business che consente all’animazione europea di chiudere i piani finanziari e aprire gli orizzonti distributivi, con una condivisione costruttiva di linee editoriali, ricerca creativa, temi educativi e innovazione.

L’Italia è presente con 5 progetti di serie: “Nip & Lena”, progetto upper pre-school originale, di Lynx Multimedia Factory; “Mortina”, progetto di serie tratto dai libri i Barbara Cantini, di Cartobaleno; “Cassy on the Stars” progetto children 5-7 di Graphilm Entertainment; “Snow riders”, children 9-11 di Showlab; e “Moka Mera & Atlas”, pre-school di Anima Vitae (Finlandia) co-prodotto con Animoka Studios (Italia) e Moilo (Finlandia).

I numeri di questa edizione: I progetti del Cartoon Forum 2023 rappresentano 475 ore di contenuto, per un totale di circa 398 milioni di euro. Di questi dominano in percentuale i progetti con un target children (58%), seguiti dal target pre-school (22%), Adults (14%) e Family (6%).
Un’iniziativa speciale è dedicata ai progetti UK, nella sezione Animated UK Meets Europe, proposta ai broadcaster UK per incoraggiare le co-produzioni tra produttori Europei e d’oltre Manica.

L’animazione europea si presenta dinamica e in forte crescita, sia in termini numerici sia di contenuto e creatività.
