Maurizio Forestieri tra gli ospiti del Ponente International Film Festival

È un’amplissima varietà di temi ad essere affrontata nella 18ª edizione del Ponente International Film Festival, al via da domenica a Bordighera.

La foresta amazzonica e l’entroterra ligure, l’affascinante universo delle api e quello sottomarino al largo di Bordighera, il tutto arricchito da un omaggio ad Anna Magnani, a cinquant’anni dalla sua morte. Sono alcuni dei temi che la rassegna cinematografica “green” affronterà nelle sei giornate di proiezioni, che si concluderanno venerdì 15. In cartellone 5 film, 3 documentari, 8 cortometraggi e ben 21 ospiti, tra cui il maestro dell’animazione italiana Maurizio Forestieri, il regista Edoardo Morabito, la doppiatrice Silvia Villa, il regista e storico del cinema Lino Damiani e una ricca rappresentanza di autori liguri.

Dedicato all’uomo, alla natura e alla Terra e organizzato da La Decima Musa presieduta da Cinzia Mondini, il Ponente international film festival, nella location del cinema Olimpia, avrà per filo conduttore, come nelle ultime tre edizioni, “Creature grandi e piccole”, la salvaguardia dell’ambiente e dei suoi abitanti.

Sempre con proiezioni a ingresso libero, la rassegna aprirà i battenti domenica alle 19.45 con l’esordio alla regia di Claudio Bisio, “L’ultima volta che siamo stati bambini”, il racconto per immagini dell’eroica impresa di ragazzi impegnati in un viaggio inconsapevole verso l’età adulta. Nelle giornate successive lo schermo e il palco saranno suddivisi tra gli incontri con personaggi centrali della produzione cinematografica, interventi di protagonisti per la salvaguardia ambientale, pellicole di impatto e molti corti liguri.
